Osborn Hill School Website

Did you know?? Osborn Hill School’s webpage, including the Virtual Library, is back! You can access it at: http://fairfieldschools.org/schools/oh/
There is also a link for the website through your PTA website, on the right hand sidebar, under Useful School Links.
On the Home page you will see some Parent Resources that might be of interest to you. Check out the “Virtual Library” tab to view your 24/7 access to our own library collection and online resources. If your child is in the 4th or 5th grade, encourage them to take part in Fairfield’s own Nutmeg blog. Voting for students’ favorite title will take place in April. Parents, you might be interested in reading some of the 10 titles that students throughout the state are reading, too!

Did you know that much standardized testing will take place electronically in the future? Help your child become a faster typist so they can spend more time thinking during the testing. Our district currently supports a program called Type To Learn. You can find directions for downloading this program on the Virtual Library page. If your child has used TTL at school, they should know their login. The password is ttl4 and the first time you log in you must also add the account code 126636 on the third line. The teacher pages are currently in progress, so they will be posted later in the school year.
Have fun exploring!

Earn Money for OHS

You can earn money for the OHS PTA while you shop online! Follow the link to the OHS on-line student directory. Simply click the link to the retailer’s website. Shop and pay as you normally would. A percentage of the sale will come back to the OHS PTA . Happy shopping!

We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week –- or more.  Now turn those  shopping trips into easy cash for our school, and encourage friends to do the same!  Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store.  All you need to do is clip and send them in with your child —- each one is worth 10¢ for our school!

Osborn Hill School has the opportunity to earn cash through Stop & Shop A+ School Rewards Program. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register online using your Stop & Shop Card. After you register your card, each shopping trip at Stop & Shop using your Stop & Shop Card earns CASH for our school!  Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Stop & Shop website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.stopandshop.com. Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school’s educational needs. Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit. Registration is easy makes a HUGE difference to our school. We need your support. Please be sure to register your card to benefit Osborn Hill School using ID #06035.  Also, don’t forget to encourage your friends and relatives to do the same.
