Scholastic Book Fair is May 12 – 14th

OHS Scholastic BOGO Spring Book Fair is back!
Our Buy One, Get One Free Book fair is a wonderful reading event that has a great selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level.  A portion of each purchase benefits our school.

This year our Book Fair will be held in the hallway by our library from May 12 -14.
We will be open for Family and Friends to shop as follows:
Tuesday – 5/12:  8:15-9:30am & 3:00-6:00pm
Wednesday – 5/13:  8:15-9:30am & 3:00-7:00pm
Thursday – 5/14:  8:15-9:30am & 3:00-6:00pm

Due to this being a BOGO event not all books in the flyer will be available. What a great opportunity to stock up on books for your child to read over the summer! We look forward to seeing you at our Book Fair!

Osborn Hill School Website

Did you know?? Osborn Hill School’s webpage, including the Virtual Library, is back! You can access it at:
There is also a link for the website through your PTA website, on the right hand sidebar, under Useful School Links.
On the Home page you will see some Parent Resources that might be of interest to you. Check out the “Virtual Library” tab to view your 24/7 access to our own library collection and online resources. If your child is in the 4th or 5th grade, encourage them to take part in Fairfield’s own Nutmeg blog. Voting for students’ favorite title will take place in April. Parents, you might be interested in reading some of the 10 titles that students throughout the state are reading, too!

Did you know that much standardized testing will take place electronically in the future? Help your child become a faster typist so they can spend more time thinking during the testing. Our district currently supports a program called Type To Learn. You can find directions for downloading this program on the Virtual Library page. If your child has used TTL at school, they should know their login. The password is ttl4 and the first time you log in you must also add the account code 126636 on the third line. The teacher pages are currently in progress, so they will be posted later in the school year.
Have fun exploring!
