PTA Volunteer Thank You Breakfast
The OHS staff would like to invite you to a breakfast served at the next PTA meeting on Friday, May 31st, to thank the PTA for their dedication and service this year to our school. We hope you will be able to be there. Whether you are able to attend or not, we hope you know how much we appreciate all you do for our students and community through the time, energy, and love you put into our school.
Field Day Appreciation
We had the perfect weather day for Field Day on Friday. It was a fun day to be outside together. Big thanks to Mr. Marko for all his organization of events, inflatables, and keeping the rotations on schedule. Our Field Day Committee leads, Michelle Cavanaugh and Meg Horn, helped with the organization and made the day possible by lining up many wonderful volunteers to run our stations. Thank you to all who volunteered to make the day successful.
Superintendent Award Winner
On Tuesday night, the Board of Education will have their annual evening recognizing a graduating student from each school in the district with the Superintendent’s Award. The Superintendent Award is based on community service, academic prowess, and leadership in the school community. This year, the OHS recipient is Henrietta Greiner. Congratulations to Henrietta on this well-deserved recognition.
BMX Program Thank You
Last Monday we had to shut down the upper car loop for the morning, but it was worth it! Our students enjoyed viewing some wild tricks on BMX bikes and many of our staff bravely volunteered to be jumped over. Big thanks to Kate Fierman for organizing this program and to the PTA for providing the program.
