Dear OHS Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
We have two full weeks before our holiday break, and every week of instruction is important. As you can imagine, it can be a challenge to keep the students’ attention this time of year. I ask that you please hold off on the holiday wear (ie Santa hats, elf ears, etc…) until the last week before break to help lessen student distraction..
A few important reminders for this week:
We will be doing hearing screenings this week on all students.
The OHS Band will be providing Holiday Caroling during arrival on Friday, 12/13 from 8:45-9:15 am.
We are collecting unwrapped toys through the Fairfield Public Schools Maintenance and Custodial Toy drive through December 16th. The toys will be donated to local and state charities to provide gifts for those in need. The collection box is located in our lobby.
We have an opportunity to help Osborn Hill families for Christmas through our Holiday Gift Card Drive. I sent out a Parent Square recently, but in case you missed it, here is the letter with more details. We appreciate your support.
Please make sure you update your SDM with any dismissal changes.
I hope you all have a terrific week ahead! Take care.
Sean F. Smyth, Principal
